Vajiko Chachkhiani:
Winter which was not there

4 October–8 December 2019

Coinciding with the Recasting Canova exhibition, in Chachkhiani’s film a monumental concrete sculpture of a man is hoisted out of the sea and dragged behind a car through rural and urban landscapes until it vanishes completely. The film implies a process of liberation from your own history as well from the historical circumstances.
