Harry Moore (b. 1952)

Courthouse

Courthouse
2007
pin hole photography
51 x 101 cm

Born in Zambia in 1952, Harry Moore lives and works in Cork City.

‘Courthouse´ is part of a recent body of works documenting the buildings of Cork as monuments. Using an early photographic technique – pin hole photography which creates a negative image – Moore uses a wide angle format to isolate the building from its surroundings and creates the illusion of a fleeting image.
